These rules are extracted from the now dead RP site "Hawk Farms". The copy write goes to me, Kismet. Rest in peace, dear "Hawk Farms".
Basics
Remember, kindness counts! If we catch you being rude to another player, you will be in Big trouble!
When RPing, post anything out-of-character OOC- and in-character under IC-
No Power-playing! This means that you control someone else's character. That is a huge no!
No God-modding. This means you make your character totally invincible.
No animals with magical powers or animals who have wings, horns, etc.
No super-graphic fights, graphic mating, or graphic birthing.
Swearing is allowed only in ic though.
THERE IS NO TALKING OF DRUGS, SEXUAL CONTENT, ALCOHOL, OR BEING A RACIST, SEXIST OR ANYTHING RELATED! Even though a ProBoards rule is that all members have to be above thirteen many members still join! These under aged members shouldn't be reading about crap like that.
You may Not post with your character until your bio has been accepted by an administrator/moderator.
You may have as many animals as you'd like, as long as you keep them active!
Again, no strange animals. They must be realistic! No purple eyes, pink spots, blue fangs, etc.
You may have only Two high-powered positions. These include Alpha Male/Female for herds and/or packs.
If you have an Animal List, try to link to it in your signature.
Please, use description in posts and bios!
Rankings for your characters!
Dog Ages:
0-2 months = Pup
3-6 months = Youth
6+ months = Mascule/Femme (mascule=male, femme=female)
28+ months = Alpha
Horse Ages:
0 months-4 years = Filly/Colt (filly=female, colt=male)
6+ months = Stallion/Mare (stallion=male, mare=female)
28+ months = Alpha
Mating and Birthing
Both RPers must agree on the mating.
Animals must be a mascule/femme, or stallion/mare to become a mate.
You can force-breed, but both players must agree first.
You can't decide how many foals the mare in gestation has-- that will be decided by a staffy. The maximum for foals is 3 and the minimum is 1 dead. When your mare gives birth, PM a staffy and they will announce how many foals you have. If you have 1 dead, you must request it to the staffy.
Babies must have an RPer before they are born.
Babies must stay babies for at least 1 real week. Litters will age at the same rate.
Staff (Accalia for wolves and Kismet for horses ) will make a sample bio for you of the baby, if the baby is not to your liking or you want a certain thing like color gender excedra then ask a staffy to help!
Each RPer must have at least 1 baby from the litter, unless the RPers agree otherwise. If a mare has one foal, the mates must decide who gets it.
Babies will stay with their mother until they are a youth.
If a baby happens to escape it's herd or pack, it cannot go far without being found, or it will not return without some kind of average injury.
Aging
If you have a filly/colt, you cannot have them mate until they are three years old.
A horse ages 1 year for each week. So you must wait 3 weeks before a filly/colt can mate.
For a horse to become a stallion/mare, they must be 4 years, or 4 real weeks, old.
A wolf ages 2 months a week.
For a pup to become a youth, you must wait 1 real week.
2 real weeks and a youth becomes a femme/mascule. An Alpha must be at least 14 weeks old.
